This Wicked Tongue
You wouldn't think from these two videos that our little girl has been alternating most of the day between violent pooping and throwing up. We thought something was wrong yesterday when Brenna was telling us that her tummy hurt, but she also likes to play this game with us where she tells us numerous parts of her body hurts, so we weren't positive. This morning she woke up throwing up and has been having issues since then. Right now (evening) she's asleep, and we're hoping she has a restful night.
I hope you get a kick out of these two videos, I was too lazy to break out the best parts, but you'll see Brenna:
- Effectively working her shapes ball, naming off a number of the shapes as she goes along (circle, oval, triangle, star - breaking into twinkle twinkle little star when she gets to this one). She also corrected me when I tried to tell her that one of her shapes was a pentagon (it was actually a trapezoid, and I couldn't remember what it was, she called me out on trying to pull the wool over her eyes on that one. Yes, Emily has taught her what a trapezoid is. Sorry, you won't see that on the video, I had stopped filming).
- Singing various parts of the Grumpy Old Troll song, which goes
I'm the grumpy old troll, who lives under the bridge
I'm the grumpy old troll, who lives under the bridge
If you want to come over, all you have to do is this
All you have to do is this
Solve my riddle!
- Singing the Taxi song repeatedly, including an up close and personal version on the last film.
To refresh your memories:
Taxi, taxi, riding in the backseat
Roll the window up, roll the window down
Put the money in the slot, see you later, thanks a lot
Sure beats walking cross town

Haha...on further review Brenna schooled Daddy not once, but twice on 'trapezoid'. Rather matter-of-factly, too. Yay Daddy for catching that on tape.
